Nonlinearity in MFCs

Postby mehdibaghaee » Sun Jul 14, 2019 6:54 pm

Hi,
I want to use MFC layers for energy harvesting from galloping and Vortex-Induced Vibrations phenomena.
Which type of MFC do you recommend to use?
What rules I must consider in implementing the MFCs to not pass the linear behavior? because I want to verify my linear modeling.
Will the harvested power rise if the MFC experience large deformation which is a type of nonlinearity?
Is there any document published by Smart-Material to discuss the nonlinear behavior of MFCs?

Regards,
